Cara & Kamyar’s Washington DC Garden Elopement was held in the lovely Dumbarton Oaks, a private garden nestled in the heart of DC. The couple originally met in Berlin, and resided in Washington DC for the past few years for Kamyar’s residency. They had originally planned to tie the knot under the umbrella of DC’s gorgeous cherry blossoms in the spring, but they were forced to cancel the week prior due to the pandemic and travel restrictions for the couple’s international guests. Instead of their original plan, Cara & Kamyar wanted to create an intimate wedding that was “virtual yet sophisticated,” and with the help of Pamela Barefoot Events, they hosted a perfect celebration. With their hand-written vows streamed with the help of Zoom, the couple cut their mini cake and danced to “La Vie en Rose.” Later they joined their friends for a small picnic in the garden, a simple and lovely celebration for the newlyweds!
