Brittany and Alex’s National Cathedral Wedding was held on a one of the first crisp fall days, and was full of so much joy it is hard to express through a few photographs! This sweet couple said their vows in one of their favorite places, Bishop’s Garden, at the foot of the beautiful National Cathedral overlooking Washington DC. Their ceremony was incredibly intimate, and began as Brittany’s parents escorted her down the aisle to Bruce Springsteen’s “Secret Garden.” As you can imagine, there was not a dry eye in sight! Their wedding day was full of sentimental touches, most notably, the bride’s 3 generation gown that was custom tailored for this special day. Navy, ivory and green tones were artistically intertwined throughout the wedding day by Caroline Dutton Events. The couple’s beautiful wedding day concluded with dinner and dancing within the arches of the cathedral, for an evening to remember.
