Ashley and Dustin’s French Riviera Destination wedding was something out of a dream, and it was truly an honor to travel to the south of France to photograph for their beautiful celebration! When they met, Ashley & Dustin bonded over their mutual love for France. It was no surprise that a few months after their Parisian engagement they decided to celebrate their wedding in France.
Chateau St. Georges was located in the French Riviera, and was the perfect backdrop for their destination soiree. Echoing the wedding design with gilded invitations and a custom map envelope liner, the couple’s stationery welcomed their guests with elegance and set the stage for their beautiful wedding weekend. A day before their wedding, Dustin went out to make a custom scent for Ashley at perfume house Molinard- a perfect gift to remember their wedding for years to come. Overlooking the French Riviera, Ashley and Dustin opted to say their vows in the gilded conservatory of the Chateau which was intimate and sweet. The florals incorporated local blooms from Grasse, with rare jasmine, honeysuckle, roses, lavender and peonies. The couple said their vows in front of a gilded window overlooking the French Riviera, and spoke the most beautiful words that will forever be imprinted on my heart:
“We are travelers on a cosmic journey,stardust,swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share.This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity.” – The Alchemist
Suspended in such a joyous atmosphere of love, Ashley and Dustin snuck away for a few sunset portraits on the terrace in the bride’s gorgeous reception dress by designer Eve of Milady. Cocktails were served under the palm trees of the Chateau, prior a 5 course al fresco dinner under cafe lights. Designed in blues and golds, their tablescape left no detail untouched. The letterpress menus complete with the couple’s monogram, set the tone for the delightful evening of dinner and dancing.
