Daniela & Faisal’s Conrad Hotel DC Wedding was disco-themed perfection and was planned in just a few weeks by DC’s Kaitlin of Cheers Darling Events. Set in the heart of the city at the modern Conrad Hotel, Daniela & Faisal tied the knot with just 6 guests. Although they had planned a larger celebration for the fall of 2020, the couple shifted gears and decided to go all in on a chic, colourful celebration for just their closest family and friends in Washington DC. The wedding design included disco ball accents and blooms in a gorgeous palette of pinks, oranges and yellows. The day brought so much brightness to the month of November, and it was a perfect way to kick off their marriage in style.
Following an intimate first look on the rooftop of the Conrad, Daniela & Faisal took advantage of the city sights with their guests and headed to the Lincoln Memorial for photos. As the sun set, Faisal’s sister officiated the most heartfelt ceremony, incorporating cultural traditions from both families. From Daniela’s Bulgarian roots, the couple partook in a honey ceremony with both mothers. The first piece of bread is always salty as the difficulties that will arise in the family life of the young couple, and the second piece of bread, is dipped in honey to remind the newlyweds of the delights they will share in the future. Daniela & Faisal danced down the aisle during their processional, right over to the couple’s live stream, waving to their family & friends from afar. They mingled with champagne and appetizers before enjoying their intimate, candlelit dinner.
