Before the wedding day officially begins, there’s a moment that belongs purely to joy - the Sangeet. Rooted in Indian wedding tradition as a night of music, dance, and family performance, this celebration is where laughter fills the air and every guest becomes part of the story leading up to the big day. 


Set in the rolling countryside of Middleburg, Virginia, Isabelle & Krunal's vibrant Sangeet unfolded against the sunlit backdrop of Stone Tower Winery, where guests and family gathered in a kaleidoscope of color, energy, and warmth. From coral and pink ensembles to deeply traditional attire, the palette felt both joyful and refined - perfectly reflecting the spirit of the occasion. 


In open gardens and under sky-kissed light, the air buzzed with anticipation. Friends and family shared choreographed dances, spontaneous performances, and moments of pure connection - all underscored by gorgeous florals and thoughtful design by Mishall Event Stylist, whose aesthetic brought vibrancy and flow to every corner of the celebration. 


On medium format film, I hoped to capture the essence of this spirited evening: laughter shared across lush lawns, energetic movement on the dance floor, and those fleeting, unscripted moments that make a Sangeet unforgettable. There’s magic in the way color and emotion blend - flower petals in motion, joyful embraces, and silhouettes lifted by sunset light - all reminding us that weddings are not just milestones, but beautiful gatherings of community and love. 


This Sangeet wasn’t just a party - it was the perfect opening chapter to a weekend of celebration, setting the tone with vibrant hues, full hearts, and moments that will be cherished for years to come.
